This page explains the cookies and similar technologies learnBenchmark uses. There are only two categories, and one of them never loads without your consent.

Essential

Authentication cookies (set by our auth provider, Supabase) keep you signed in and secure your account session. They are required for the site to work and are not subject to consent.

A few short-lived essential cookies exist only while you are signing in and are discarded as soon as the flow finishes: a security token that protects the Google sign-in exchange, and — if you followed a referral link — the referral tag we record with your signup.

Analytics — only with your consent

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand which topics and skills are used. Until you click Accept on the consent banner, analytics storage is denied by default via Google Consent Mode v2 and no analytics cookies are set. If you accept, Google sets its standard measurement cookies (_ga and a _ga_* property cookie). Analytics data is retained for 14 months. Advertising storage remains off in all cases — learnBenchmark shows no ads.

How your choice is stored

Your consent decision is saved in your browser's local storage so we don't re-ask on every visit. To change or withdraw consent, clear this site's cookies and site data in your browser settings — the consent banner will appear again on your next visit.
