Cookie Policy
DraftPlaceholder for the localhost build — not the final, legally-reviewed text.
This page explains the cookies and similar technologies Benchmark uses. It is a placeholder for the localhost build; the final policy will be written once the items below are settled and the consent banner is wired up.
Cookies we expect to set:
- Essential — authentication and session cookies that keep you signed in and secure your account. These are required for the site to work and are not subject to consent.
- Analytics — Google Analytics (GA4) to understand which topics and skills are used. These load only after you consent, via Google Consent Mode v2; until then, analytics storage is denied by default.
To be finalized before launch:
- The exact GA4 cookies set (names, purpose, retention) and any regional variation
- Consent banner copy, granular categories, and how to change or withdraw consent
- How consent state is stored and how long a choice is remembered
- Any embedded third-party content that may set its own cookies
You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from signing in. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data.
