Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2, 2026

learnBenchmark (learnbenchmark.com) is a free educational platform operated by Alton Machen and James Ohr ("we", "us"). By using learnBenchmark you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

The service

learnBenchmark provides practice questions, articles, and study tools for finance-interview preparation, free of charge. We may add, change, or remove features at any time, and we may modify or discontinue the service — we'll aim to give reasonable notice of anything significant.

Your account

Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time by emailing info@learnbenchmark.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service. In particular: no scraping, bulk-copying, or republishing of the question bank or other content; no reselling or commercial redistribution; no attempting to circumvent access controls or disrupt the service; no unlawful use. Personal study use — including notes you make for yourself — is what the service is for.

Intellectual property

The content on learnBenchmark — questions, answers, explanations, articles, and the glossary — belongs to us. We grant you a personal, non-commercial license to use it for your own learning. If you submit feedback or report a question issue, you grant us the right to use that feedback to improve the content.

Educational content only

learnBenchmark is a study resource. Nothing on the platform is financial, investment, legal, or career advice, and we make no guarantee that any content is error-free or that using learnBenchmark will lead to any particular interview or career outcome.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us to use learnBenchmark (which, as a free service, is zero). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date. Continuing to use learnBenchmark after changes take effect means you accept them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, and any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts.
